Davis to Quincy; 215 miles; 16,700' of climbing. The longest, toughest day of the event. Whether you were on the 1200k, 1000k, or 600k...this day was for everyone. Highlights: American River Bike Trail; backroads of Auburn; the fast descent and slow (hot!) climb out of the Yuba River; Downieville (and its sirens who coaxed a fair number of riders to throw in the towel); climbing over Yuba Pass to Calpine and then the final leg to Quincy.
